Friday Linkies

1. So Monday started with my plans for my state linky coming together. Go link up when you're done here! And how did I not know about the forums on TpT?! Such a great place to share all of this work I've been doing. And I found some great giveaways and freebies in about fifteen minutes!

2. Tuesday was our school's rounds day. This is where a group of administrators come into rooms and watch and record for fifteen minutes. It's not evaluative, but they are looking to see if we're implementing things from professional developments and things like that. So of course my associate wasn't here today, and I was planning to do small groups. I went with those plans anyway, and the kids were SO GOOD! I couldn't believe it! My small group had a great conversation about Stonehenge, which I talked prepping for {here}. And then I got a great compliment from my administrator. It was a fuzzy morning!

3. On Wednesday, I woke up to my first TpT sale. Woo-hoo! I got a whole 30¢! And then I sold two more later that day :) I'll be retiring before I know it... On a similar note, I got an email from a fundraising company that would like me to put an ad on my sidebar for six months. They would pay me a very small amount. Any of you have experience with something like that? Any tips? Do I need to add a disclaimer to my blog?

4. We continued to study for our early colonies test. I used a site called Quia to create some review games. It is a paid subscription to create things, but if you want to check out my review games, {here} is the link. I have a little score sheet that I give each student so they can earn a treat for completing each activity.
5. The rest of the week was spent home with my little one, who was running a fever. While I was gone, my students did this Design a Band activity. I wonder how it went?

And while we're at it, let's add this month's Currently!

Just another reminder to sign up for my March Madness Giveaway! It will be here soon! The prizes are starting to pile up :)

And I'm helping with two great giveaways!

This one is going on now...

And this one starts Saturday!

Thank you to all of my new followers! I hit 200 on Thursday night :) I probably won't do a giveaway with all of the other things I've got on the burners, so I will come up with some sort of freebie. Maybe a font? A banner? An activity? Hmm...

  1. Glad your observation went so well - that must have warmed your heart on Monday!

Welcome to the wonderful world of TpT - soon the sales will start racking up...and then creating and posting items will become quite consuming :)

Thanks for the shout out for my giveaway - I can't wait for it to go live :)

  6. I also got an email about the side bar. I'm not doing it, I don't like tge idea of an advertisement being stuck tgere for 6 long months. Yes, my spelling is off but it won't let me go back to fix the errors in my comment.

  12. Ugh. I do NOT do teeth. So gross. When my daughter's started falling out I told her she was on her own or to go see her daddy. Ick. I mean ICK!

I HATE dirty clothes because that means I need to wash them. Well, the washing and drying isn't so bad. It's the putting them away that's a killer!!

  13. Hi -

Your comment on the TPT sale and retiring cracked me up - I can relate to that. I think I have lots more work to do before I can install the pool in the backyard.

Thanks for all your hard work on the state blogs. Oh - and I will donate a prize for March Madness.

And I LUH-HUV me some Diet Mountain Dew. The fountain version= the best. Whenever I find that anywhere I HAVE to have it. ( Even though I try to limit my pop consumption.)
