Wordless Wednesday and Worksheet Wednesday - June 4

Last day of school! Love these shorts to show each class since you don't have to worry about showing the whole thing! What are your go-to movies?

I don't have one to share today, but don't forget to go to {The Teaching Tribune} to stock up on free worksheets today!

  1. Hi Diane! My go-to movie was always "Where the Red Fern Grows" but only after we read the book. Did you know the author narrates the movie? I also have a VHS recording of the author speaking to a group of kids and it is pretty spectacular!

    Teachers Are Terrific!

    1. So you like to make them cry :) Such a great movie!

  2. I usually draw a number for a student to bring in movie. If they forget, my favorite back up movie is Air Bud. I just love it, and it has been a winner every time I've shown it.

    Fit to be Fourth

  3. Ohhh...where did you get those Pixar short films? I need to get some of those!
    Rockin' and Lovin' Learnin'

  4. I'm with Alison (comment above) Where did you find them! I love playing a resonably recent disney/pixar type movie. You can probably guess the movie we will be watching at the end of this term... Frozen anyone? HAha... My school is VERY relaxed about the movies we can/can't show to our kids. Generally speaking has to be G rated, but I was allowed to show step up last term. Not sure how...
    Learning to be awesome

    1. I got them as a gift, but they have them on Amazon! We've already watched Frozen this year ;) Glad my building is also relaxed on the movie thing!

  5. I had not idea they had those shorts! I always like to show ones based on books we have read. This year we saw Holes, City of Ember, Percy Jackson, and How to Train a Dragon. They were hoping and hoping there would be movies based on Wonder and The One and Only Ivan.

Thank you for taking the time to comment! I reply back by email, so please make sure you have that option enabled. Have a great day!
