Optimum Organization - Grocery Bag Containers

I'm excited that this linky will be a weekly thing this summer, although I think that I blogged about all of my classroom organization ideas during my {previous post}. Guess I'll have to do some brainstorming on what to write next. OK, that didn't take long...

One of the things that I can't stand is throwing something away that COULD be useful. *Disclaimer* That feeling goes away if it's been sitting around for a month and I haven't done anything with it. Then into the trash or recycling it goes! I'm sure that many of you have disinfectant wipes on your school supply list. In my school, each student is supposed to bring two containers. So we have these empty disinfectant wipe containers throughout the year. I saw an {idea on Pinterest} where you Mod Podged some scrapbook paper on the outside and use it to store your plastic grocery bags.

I always try to have grocery bags at school for carrying home boots, artwork, or whatever else has made its home in the bottom of my students' lockers. I'm sure that I'm not alone there. So I made a few of these for school and one for my car. I never seem to have a spare bag in my car for soiled clothes, spills, or whatever else my girls do behind me.

  4. Love it! I just cleaned out a cabinet in my room and ended up stuffing a bunch of these bags on top of all the nice organized stuff and it ruined my organized vibe! Now I need to make one of these and I'll be good to go. Thanks for the idea!

  5. This is a fabulous idea! I have several of these empty containers just waiting for a good project. I will be working on making two this summer, one for home and one for school. Thanks for sharing!

  6. ...You are a genius! I was just showing the teacher I work beside my ridiculous amount of Clorox wipe containers. I couldn't justify keeping them because I couldn't think of anything to do with them, but keep them I did! THANK you for the idea!! I will so do this.
