At first, I created the bookmarks to help with the unnumbered series, but then I decided to extend it to other series in the library. I printed them out on cardstock at 90% so they would fit in my pencil trays from Michaels. They are currently stored in a drawer at the circulation desk, but that might change.
Then I went into Alexandria and added an alert for the first book in every series. I did this so that I could make sure there was a bookmark when it was checked out. I also wanted to be alerted when it was returned so I could put in a bookmark and return it to the display shelf. (Sometimes when you're in the zone scanning books, you don't always notice these things...)
After setting that up, I put a bookmark inside the first book of every series and placed the books on a shelf of their own.
I also created a board with some summaries from Amazon and put it above the shelf to catch students' attention.
