Craftmania!!

I think that Martha Stewart took up residence in my house this week. We have been very crafty!

I shared my Monday Made It.

This is a gift for a blogging buddy. Shhh....

Revamped some old signs with my rainbow chevron theme.

Whipped up a quick freebie. I think that I have a mustache problem...

Taught myself how to make paracord bracelets with this {tutorial}. Thought that my fifth graders might like to earn one. Side note: These are in my school colors, which happen to be the colors of one of our rival universities. My seven-year-old, upon seeing this bracelet said, "Don't you know those are colors you hate?!" I replied, "They are my school's colors." Her response? "Maybe you should switch schools..." LOVE HER!!

  1. wow, you have been busy.
I love what your daughter said. My rival university is burnt orange. We live next to a town that uses that color for EVERY school. when we moved, I made it clear I could not move to that town and teach. LOL
Except, my rival school is my husband's fav! Nothing like a divided home (hee hee)

No guess on the school, but I love those bracelets!!

  3. Thank you for all of your wonderful ideas! The bracelet seems to be the colors of Iowa State University (or University of Southern California, since they have the same colors!) The bracelets are very cool! I've been following your blog for a while now and really appreciate your tips and resources!

    Thank You!

  5. We just saw paracord bracelets in Home Depot the other day. They called them survival bracelets I think. Apparently you cut the cord at some magical place and you end up with enough cord to dangle yourself off a cliff or something like that. Knowing me, I'd cut it in the wrong place and end up with 47 pieces of 2 inch paracord which would be good for....well nothing actually. While I doubt their use in matters of survival, I LOVE the idea of using them for a classroom reward! I need to go get some green and white cord! Thanks for adding something else to my 'to-do' list!
